Google Webmaster Tools - weeks long delays?

    I'm not sure I get GWT anymore... I added code to my site to generate rel="canonical" and it seems to be working OK, but errors increase exponentially every day. Is the data that GWT displays actually weeks delayed? That's the only explanation I can find.

    Not sure if it is weeks delay but it definitely is not updated everyday.

    ?? For me it is updated every day, and every day new errors that were fixed long ago show up, but I don't the problems on the site
