I have logged into my webmaster tools and it shows that "Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Sep 18, 2007." but when I searched my lastest article http://www.minterest.com/2007/09/23...hosting-service-provider-and-its-coupon-code/ its there in Google's Index.. So how often do B]Google Webmaster Tools[/B] update their stats??? Also how often do they update the backlinks????
Well, I don't know really. But count on the google search engine being updated more often than google webmaster tools. After all: the google serps change continually. What you can get out of the sentence "Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Sep 18, 2007." is simply that your site is crawled at a decent frequency. What you can get out of the fact that your latest article was indexed within 24 hours is that your site is probably indexed very often. Just be happy about that and just keep adding good content to your site.
IMO, google webmaster is entirely worthless. The data is completely unreliable and you can't even use it to measure or estimate anything. I only use it to maintain the sitemap..
