Google webmaster tools sitemap statistics are totally off

    I dont get this!

    In the google webmaster tools and sitemap for one of my sites the statistics are way wrong.

    This is for top search queries, impressions and traffic. When I check this info in the google search engine not much of it is correct --- by far.

    What does that mean really ? Any suggestions ...

    It is usually the top search engines of the month, they don't update often, usually once a month
