Google webmaster tools sitemap question

    I submitted my new site through G's webmaster tools. I then submitted my sitemap. It appears that it properly found my sitemap, but it says "URLS in Sitemap -- Total: 6, Indexed: 0"

    Why would it find them but not index them? Is this normal?

    It takes time for Google to index all your pages, days or months sometimes. Try to keep a good internal linking structure and get some links for your site.

    I would give it a week. If I remember correctly when I signed up it took 3-4 days for add the functions to start working properly.

    Create a RSS and try pinging it from ping-o-matic. It will help
