Google Webmaster Tools Question

How accurate is the "clicked queries" stats

For example say "blue widgets" is responsible for 12% of my sites clicked queries according to webmaster tools

yet "blue widgets" is really low in my analytics software when im checking which phrases brought me traffic

The site receives about 6000 visitors a day so surely i should be seeing this term as a main keyword

I hishly doubt that blue widget brings you 720 clicks a day(12% of 6000) since google trends dont even have traffic stats for "blue widgets" since it is too low.

i think he's using "blue widgets" as an example keyword. he doesn't want to give the real keyword away

I don't think it is too accurate at all. I wonder how they measure the stats versus Analytics lets say?

I am aware that Google is not displaying the "accurate" results but they are giving the "closest" results.

Then compare your real keyword in google trends with a keyword you know really drives traffic.

In my first post I refrained from asking the question of what was a "blue widget". :D

I have compared it in google trends. It's a major competitive term in my industry. I think the problem is my analytics software
