    I am using Google Webmaster Tools to check is there any error in site or not. There are many options in it. I want to know that Which things in GWT help to increase website ranking? And how to make use of that in better way?

    What do you mean by "increase website ranking by fetching more pages."? I find this option in GWT but how to use it and what is it's importance for website ranking?

    Webmaster doesnt give you terms to improve ranking but GWT shows you the errors and linked url . You can analyze the backlink and can make strategy of your work.

    After managing website click on the website link then from left side menu select health. after selecting health go to fetch as google. then fetch your newly created page.

    When your site (listed in GWT) get a google penalty pro something, can it harm other sites you have in the same GWT account?

    Google Webmaster tools is an effective way to keep track of your website. However, their stats are not always 100% correct. They usually only show about 60 - 80% of your actual backlinks, also the search engine stats differ from Google Analytics. However, I think everyone should have a Google Webmaster account, it is an essential piece of the SEO pie.

    In my opinion you will only get some basic info from GWT about your site - let's say some 50-60% from what they see and consider actually. It is useful for initial analyzing of potential problems, but will not increase your rankings!
    Regarding the latter - have a look around the forums here and do not be scared from all the euphoria about Pandas, Penguins, bought links and so on... Still keep a nice, up-to-date, clean site with unique content and relevant links to it with well varied anchor texts :)

    Use sitemap submission tool to submit sitemap.xml to start with to get all pages on your site indexed by Google, find duplicate pages & 404 pages on your site so that they can be fixed with relevant redirects. Also learn about "Disavow Link tool". Google Webmaster Tools have many more interesting little tools, but these are the ones you can start with.

    Are you referring to removing 404 errors in Google Webmaster Tools? Best thing to do is fix the error on your site then mark it as fixed in GWT.

    Nothing in webmaster tools helps ranking. It supplies data to you AND also to google. This information may also make it easier for google to penalize you - especially if you use analytics or adsense. Best policy is to remove google from all sites so they have less data to collect for penalties.

    Webmaster tools are very helpful to increase the ranking. It helps submitting Static & Dynamic Sitemaps to Google.
