Hi all, I love the new info google gives on the links to pages to my site, and (not so new) key words people use to get to my site. BUT I would like to download that info onto my computer and deal with it in a spreadsheat. This seems an option, but I can't get the download to open in microsoft Excell properly. It opens, but the information doesn't get seperated into the cells properly. The whole line goes into the first cell on each line. Instead the commas that seperate the values, get added into the content. I hope that was clear. My question is: what's the easiest way to deal with this? Does this work better in open office, for instance. Or is there some easy way to get it to work in Excell?
In excel, you need to convert the data. Select the first column. In the menu go to -> "Data", choose "convert" (I translate from the french version, so I'm not sure if labels are the same) and then follow instructions to separate the value. I think it's should work
For me it was under data as well, but then 'convert to columns' (translating from Dutch). Anyhow, thanks. That was a big help.
