Google Webmaster Tools “Page not found” Issue – Please help

    I have a website on website designing and related stuff.

    http://www.webguru-india.com/webdesign.php

    But there’s something rather strange going on in Google Webmaster reports. The reports keep on showing “Page not found” errors. For pages that don’t even exist. Although it’s a php page, new html pages are being created on their own. And the reports show these pages (which were never there) and report 404 errors.

    Up till now there are ~6000 such errors.

    Why is this happening? How can I stop this? Can someone help?

    If you click on the 'Linked From' link to the right of each page, does it show if they are linked from your site or from another site?

    I think you will have to correct it through robots.txt
