Google Webmaster tool is too slow!

    Isn't it true that Google Webmaster tool is too slow in reporting statistics? Yahoo! is like instant access but for Google it's like "wait a month".

    What'd you think?

    Yes, the google webmaster tools links data/statistics is only updated once every 2 months or so.

    yeah google webmaster is slow in reporting. you'd end up better using other tracking programs (it depends on your purposes though)

    I totally agree. The errors and other reports are too slow to update. I wish google can make things a little faster.

    It's a bit slow for sure. Even when an update does happen I think it updates to the situation a website was in some weeks previously.

    Usually it takes more time to google to process anything: links etc. the best advice sometimes is to hold on .

    Is there something happening with Webmasters tools over the weekend as some of our sites had 1000s of links but when i looked today they are only showing under 50 any ideas what is going on is there a possibilty of a update as i have not seen this happen before.Thanks

    I agree. it slow in reporting statistic.

    Search Query: Weekly
    Backlinks: probably 3 month

    but, google index your website faster than any other search engine.

    Thanks people. I agree with you all. Except one thing, izwanmad, now I can see Yahoo! is much faster in indexing than Google.

    It's freee, what do you expect for free?

    EDIT: Free in a sense that you don't pay money, but we pay with our statistics and help Google create a much more detailed profile of ourselves and our sites :(
