google webmaster / sitemap issues with my price comparison site

    Hay,

    I run a price comparison site just for electrical goods, i submited my sitemap to google webmaster tools and within a week or so i was getting 1 - 2k hits aday and a few sales, after playing around with the price comparison script i broke part of it witch gave 404 error in google webmaster tools, i know have a a massive traffic lost maye 10 - 20 hits a day.

    I have fixed the errors any idea how long it could take for me to get the ranking back or could it be nothing to do with the 404 errors?
