My internal links in G webmaster has dropped over the last few days from 4K to 800, my site has remained the same. Anyone else had a big drop, has it effected your site in anyway?

Do you mean how many pages you have indexed OR your inbound links from other sites?

Usually Google never indexs every single page until your site gets authority or matures, its common to see the pages indexed to rise and fall. Inbound links change because less sites are linking to yours or they weren't picked up when they last crawled the site.

No not inbound links or indexed pages, under the links menu in webmaster tools you will see the internal links section..

That is your internal page structure, which is basicly related to what I said orignally. If you have less pages indexed you'll see less internal links. :)

Ok your confusing me now :) Internal link structure is not related to inbound links nor indexed pages.

Internal links show pages in my site with links pointing to other pages within my site it has nothing to do with indexed pages \ inbound links.

Edit - BTW nice site I spent about hour the other night flicking through your pictures.

Yes it is :) Pages that you don't have indexed won't show in internal links or as outbound links.

Thanks, my Jokes website is about to launch next week, its gonna be the same concept being random, but you can random all jokes or just lets say animal or religion jokes :)

    Ok thanks for the help.

Anyone else noticed a drop in internal links? and why did it happen (I'm trying to figure out how this can happen if my indexed pages \ outbound links etc are all the same if not raising, yet my internal links are decreasing..)

not sure how exactly how google count the internal links, make sure your pages are properly linked and quality content is maintained on the page
