We are a book retailer selling books online. We also send our book feeds to Google books with UTM embedded to track the campaign in analytics. We were going through our Google webmaster tool and clicked on some search queries with highest impression. We were surprised to see that the landing page or links that Google shows when clicked on queries have UTM embedded. We believe webmaster tools represent data from organic search and not from merchant center. Hence Google should show us page URL without UTMs as our sitemap contains URL without any UTM. We fail to understand the relationship between Google webmaster tool and merchant center data. Can somebody enlighten us?
