True. Vanessa says that "live PR" is something she's not too sure about. Also, from reading the comments here, everyone is led to believe that Google Webmaster Central will have Alexa rankings. Alexa-type rankings were discussed, but according to the interview, Vanessa says that Google webmaster central will likely not include "Alexa-like" functionality due to privacy concerns.

I actually transcribed the interview on SERoundtable.com if you want to have a read.

Yeah, the title got me all excited, (surprised there wasn't more reply's to this post, everyone seems to be PR update mad at the moment),

Finally watched the video and was...disappointed.

I hope they don't go too far with Webmaster Tools from what I've been reading. We all have our own little tricks (white hat) to rank on Google , but if they were to make it any easier it would be a big swordfight with our competition. Live PR would be great, and it would stop all the silly "When's the next pagerank update" posts.

Google just keeps getting better at what they do. I'm sure someone's going to try to break them up for being a monopoly soon, just like Microsoft

These improvements would be useful. More transparency is good for webmasters.
