Hello Everyone Day before yesterday Google webmaster is showing 175 back-links to my websites and today webmaster is showing 25 back-links. Can someone please help me out on this or any suggestions please.
do not be upset bro. sometimes it happens. i did 300 backlinks someday ago but it shown me only 130 backlinks.
This is not a matter to worry. I also had the same experience...Actually in the google webmasters tool (GWT), it shows all the number of links from a particular site. For eg. if your site is having a backlink from a wordpress blog, the GWT will count all the back links from the indivivual blog page, from the tag section, category section, month section, archives etc. So this will show a large number of backlinks for a single link on a wordpress blog. Once this link is moved from the individual page, it disappears from all the other areas such as tag section, category section, archives etc. So it would show a much decreased number of backlinks in GWT. This may also be the reason for the sudden slump in your backlink numbers...May be...
