    Hi

I have just added my site to google analytics and started using the webmaster tools.

On my blog I promote affiliate links and was looking to use adsense but somebody on another forum I am a member of said that Google do not really like sites that promote affiliate links. He says that Google classes these sites as 'thin'.

Now, this guy has always provided me with excellent information in the past but I wanted to get some more opinions on this and suggestions on what else to try. I am using awstats so I could probably get rid of analytics.

    What do you guys think?

    Cheers
    Colin

What they are referring to is thin affiliate sites. Make sure your affiliate site doesn't fall into that category and you will be fine.

    Cheers for that.

How do I know if the affiliate is 'thin'?

Or excuse my ignorance, what would a 'thin' affililate' be?

    I meant to say.

I think I am the affiliate because I am promoting someone elses product. What do you suggest now?
