So, I had a huge issue with my site about 2 weeks ago where something got messed up in the database and all links had an extra character after them so none of them worked. I go to check out my google webmaster info and it tells me that over 700 pages are not found. It can no longer find these pages with the error since it is now fixed. What is the best method of fixing this? Should I update the robots.txt file to exclude all 700 files, or do I just wait until google comes by and decides that those files still cannot be found but thats ok for now. Any Other Thoughts or suggestions?
