...I was on a good way. I have been working on my content, on my articles, on my links. I moved up slowly, but surely from page 46 to page 2 with my main keyword just in 2 month! But couple of days ago I got an email from my hoster godaddy: your hosting account has been migrated to a new server that will provide you with increased performance and reliability I've change my "A Record" with domain registration company, as godaddy instructed. But it was too late. I had 34 NOT FOUND crawl errors from Google... As a result my site fell into a nosedive... It is on page 20 something. When I type cache:sitename, Google says: Your search did not match any documents. What can I do in this situation? Am I going to get back? Can you guys help with any suggestion? I want to cry
It looks like the Googlebot searched your site during the 48 hour period when the DNS was updating and it couldn't find your page. That's unfortunate, but it happens. Since your site structure hasn't changed, you should be back pretty soon. Add a bunch of updated, fresh content because the Googlebot loves to chew on nice new morsels of text.
I agree, add some new content and get some fresh relevant backlinks then wait for a few days. Something else you could do is Social Bookmark a few of your pages at the major Social Bookmarking sites, this helps a bit too.
I also had some problems with my host recently, and unfortunately Googlebot stopped by at the wrong time. Google is fairly good at correcting these problems quickly, especially now that their index is updated continuously. There was a time when you might have had to wait a month before this was fixed. Now, it should only take a week or so.
Don't you even worry about at the next time Google Bot visits your website you will start to recover and going up in search results, Good luck
Don't worry about this. But I would recommend using a google webmaster account to handle the resubmissions. It's automatic, it's Google's and it works on fixing this type of issue.
wow now I got a warning at DP for starting this thread in wrong category... What a life! But at least i am BACK to google!! Even at better positions with some keywords and I have to say that I love you, DP guys, you were so helpful thank you very-very much
You are quickly going to find out that your search engine rankings come and go all the time. Enjoy the good times and don't sweat the bad. Just continue to make your site more awesome and get more links. Brandon
