Today during search i got the link of google waves... i wanna know what is all about? is it same like social networking web like facebook etc? one thing more i wanna join it any one can send me a invitation of google wave
Describe what the Wave is capable is difficult but it's basically real-time data framework. It can be a replacement for E-Mail, IM, VOIP, forums, wiki's, online document editing and those are just the things the raw API can be made to do, it doesn't even touch on what is possible with all the extensions in development. Problem is with celebrities and the media taking an interest in it at this early stage people are going to get the wrong idea and pigeon hole as only one thing. And no point in asking for invites as 1st wave people only got 8 and the people they invited don't get any until they earn them.
