Can any body please explain about the google wave, I went through the website but I could not get it. Please help

The idea is its going to be Meebo with a bunch of other parts added in in order to make collaborative comm, gaming and other aspects possible and very integrated into Google Chrome as well as through any web browser outside of Google Chrome -- Meebo is the closest example of Google Wave

There's much coming out and I'm trying to be added as a developer -- if you want invites, add yourself as a developer and just start networking on linkedin with the developers of the system, it's cool and a quick fix.

I would like to explain as to how a wave works. The topic what is Google wave has already been addressed.

Working of a wave (the basic features explained)

When you start a communication with a person in wave, it begins a wave and then to include a third friend, all you have to do is drag and drop his avatar into the wave. Similarly, you can drag and drop documents, images, videos and blogs into the wave. The real time editing feature of waves and then spell check with grammar and semantics is a revelation.

The wave functions as an email feature when offline and as an instant messenger when online. In a wave even before you could complete uploading, the files appear in your friend’s wave. Users can rewind the waves and play back from the instance they would like to view from and edit wherever necessary. The applications that would facilitate real time conferencing, wikis on web pages and many more can function as a value add to enhance the richness of the experience.

I`d say lets make our own google wave!

 

I see google wave as a new communication collaoration tool, which is great - it means it can be used by normal users and business users for common tasks

 

I signed up for an invite sometime ago and have still not got one.. grr.

 

I can't see the apps in the google wave, Maybe some thing with FF 3.5.3 version, But it looks quite neat and simple so far.

 

How did you get an invite? Did you have to buy one?

 

Its an excellent product from google. I am playing with it now. Its sure to be a hit, when it is open to everyone!!

 

I am on wave and so far havent had much use for it. It is actually really clunky and not so user-friendly.

Google wave , read a lot about it and just came to know this much that it's is an application by google where we can share info. in real time enviorment.....Want to know more about it ....if anybody have more information about google wave in the form of document then please share it with me on

Been waiting over 2 weeks after my mate added an invite request. Ridiculous wait. Way to go Google.
