    Amazing idea with google wave. It's a combination of email, instant message and message board. I like this Google product, can't wait to use it.

    My favorite part is that you can maintain conversations with one person, then invite another to join and read the prior discussion.

    Google Wave is going to urge major chat systems like MSN and AIM to increase functionality. (good luck to them!)

    It's like an internet hub for all forms of online communication. So you'd have a display similar to your inbox that includes a message board and your emails. When working on it, you could create conversations with friends that are online via instant messaging that can also be shared with a group of friends you determine. The point is to have all forms of communication work together so that your conversations can be grouped together, respond in real time or saved for future references.

    If you ask me, I think finding a digestable way of combining so much info is the real challenge here. But there's so much you can do with this technology that I'm very excited to see what'll become of it

    It does look very promising, it should usher in a new era of usability for chat clients
