This looks very cool: Google's introducing a new form of online communication called the Wave that sort of combines email, IM, updates and sharing online documents. Check it out. http://wave.google.com/
looks really innovative...taking email/googledocs/photo albums and making them accessible in real time. Hard to come out with innovation on the web but this looks promising.
I think this is going to make a huge splash, especially if it works well. It will really depend on how easy it is to use, and how well it works. But the idea behind it is certainly brilliant!
Looks like a real interesting app, Gotta love the realtime translation. As much as I love the concept, it will be interesting to read through the TOS and the Privacy policy when it is released. When I was watching the video this morning, I noticed at 1h09m42s into the video, After typing a message in a wave, Steff say's "Even though this wave is 'Owned' at Google..." freudian slip maybe? Lets hope not! Cheers James
You really think 'realtime writing and editing' can beat Skype (for example)? I'm not so sure. Interesting idea if this can get involved someone except hard computer geeks? Open question.
This service looks cool and will save time and energy for people who manages multiple things at once.
Here's a link to the demo video . You have to watch it to find out how easy to use it is. I am so looking forward to it.
It looks like a great product I think. Theres lots of discussion at www.google-wave-forum.com that might be useful to anyone whos interested in Wave.
It seems interesting but like the person above says...too much power in one place...to go further what he is really saying is that it might be overkill to have so much available. And who is to say MS and Yahoo wont be doing the same.
looks good but it's basically taking what can be done now and putting it in one place and slapping a google badge on it
