After that horrific thing that happened with Google.com, the world is stunned with surprise !!! Post all your screenshots of the time when Google was down and out Let me start !
Google was not hacked. They were testing that "This site may harm your computer", but obviosly the program had a bug.
They were obviously testing out that new feature. Yahoo has been doing it for a while. Next you'll start saying that there's aliens and the Loch Ness Monster. Conspiracy theorists unite.
Oh man, it is ok now. Please stop creating such a out-of-date thread. Also the title "Google Was Hacked" is completely wrong!
I noticed this too while doing some search. Couldn't click a single link without coming up with the google malware message for about 15 minutes. I assume they were doing some maintenance that triggered a bug. No big deal, its all fine now.
Google wasn't hacked: From the washington post: voices.washingtonpost.com/securityfix/2009/01/google_this_internet_will_harm.html?hpid=news-col-blog
I was once bitten by the loch ness monster. I now only have 3 fingers on my left hand =( Terrible it was, terrible.
Google wasn't hacked. Just (another) lousy service provided by this huge company that is getting down each month. Facts: > They are providing not relevant results (spam is taking over) > They are paying less per click on Adsense (keeping a bigger piece for them) > They are getting funny with huge glitch's as the one that occurred today (they are getting dangerous and if a glitch happens with Gmail accounts... things can be dramatic for millions of people)
I don't want to go offtopic here but they are getting dangerous cause they are losing sense of responsibility. A human error caused this huge Glitch? Human error? So no one saw that "/" before taking a flag operation onto their SE? No one? Shouldn't it be triple checked? So let me ask this: what if no one saws a "/" error before updating a GMAIL component? Then what? Google used to be a solid and trusted company. Used to, not anymore, too many changes last 8 months are reveling the truth: they are losing it full throttle. God help us.
yeah I totally agree with you..the sense of responsibility is getting replaced by the greed of earning more and more I wonder what the internet would become without google
