I have registered my site www.thailand-huahin.com recently. It has been crawled by google everyday for about two weeks. Not anymore. Does anyone know how google decide the frequency of sites crawling?
Please review my site and make improvement suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Usually based on PageRank... best thing to do is get more links. The more links you have, the more often it will revisit.

if nothing internally changed, then there was an external change.

you may have lost some of your incoming links.

if nothing ever changes why would it need to re-spider... ?

you need to change things ... possibly site wise tenplate just a little or page last updated?

Vagrant is right. The spider comes round and looks for unindexed pages. If it finds any not indexed yet it adds the url to the 'pages to be indexed' list for the next spidering session. Once all links have been spidered and no new links found then that's it for a while. It'll be back after a while to redo the whole process and do the 'content seen' test. Read here if you want to know the basic principles of spiders like Google's:

 The cached page of my site covers the usual google's box at the top. Do I need to worry about it? Will this affect ranking?

Weird! I wouldn't worry about ranking unless you got some dodgy coding on page.

I have done my site using Dreamweaver, so there shouldn't be anything dodgy about the code.

    No

The effect is due to the absolute positioned <divs>. It may confuse a few visitors clicking on the cache.

You could start by placing a link in your signature here :)

But there are a number of directories etc one of which is

http://www.liquidmarkets.com/ which is free and gives you backlinks in google :D

Thanks for your explanation. Is it worth it to do anything about it or is it OK to leave the layout as it is?

Thanks z+2, I have placed my advert at liquidmarkets.

I am not allowed to place a link in my signature yet but I am working on it. :)

I have about sixty links on my site, but in order to see them all my visitors need to scroll down the page. What is the best navigation design with many links like in my site?

It should be fine zez as long as you're not using the positioned <div>s to obscure content that is only there for the engines ;)

    Break them down into submenus

eg Just major headings on the front page taking you to the specifics on the next pages. :)
