Hello, I have a question. Those yearly earning forms are called w-2? I never got my w-2 form and e-mailed google about it. They responded by saying they will send me a 1099 tax form. Is that the same thing? Or do I have to reply say I need the w-2
w-2 is what an employer would give you. Since you are not a google employee, you will get a 1099. I suggest asking your accountant for you specific needs.
And you should have the 1099 by now, if not, you can just use the stats reporting to find out how much they paid you and do your taxes that way. The actual 1099 form isn't required to do your taxes.
Yes, because in "IRS" or "legal terms" you're a contractor of sorts being a publisher and not an employee; you should've been issued a 1099-MISC for your non-employee compensation.
lol...well, it's been 2 weeks, and I haven't gotten it. I have 1 week left to do my taxes, someone tell me how I determine how much I made through adsense last year. Do I total up from December 04- December 05? Or how does it work? Is it when you get paid (get your check or direct deposited). Because
I guess add up all the payments made to you in your account's payment history would be a better way to get the total.
