    Is there even a comparison? Google is way better than Yahoo, not only in traffic, but the quality of features it provides to users and webmasters.

    As a user, I (and very many other people) prefer google. Two ways to look at it from here, maybe there's too much competition on google, or maybe the extra users make the extra affort worthwhile.

    In my opinion google is better than yahoo because google has huge data base and also fast on any other search engine. This is my opinion but it varies person to person. Happy ending.

    Well, links that you see by typing link:domain are not the complete back links. it's just the summary. Google picks links much faster than yahoo. To see the detailed list of all back links you need to use Google Webmaster Tools. Google is much more faster and doing a great job to avoid spam sites. I know the sites that use duplicate content and still ranking high in Yahoo.
