Google vs. Yahoo

Anyway google is better than yahoo. Try to do more seo and you will see than you will get on the firsts pages.

 

Ranking in Yahoo is quite easy
I'm ranking on the first page for a very popular keyword on Yahoo, but on page 3 within Google
Yet I'm getting much more traffic from Google than I'm getting with Yahoo
Google just has much more visitors, and has much more pages indexed within it than Yahoo, thus the competition on Google is much fiercer

 

I like google and both are different algo

 

for Google is important the quality of the links, for yahoo is the quantity, quality doesn't matter.

google prefers backlinks more than yahoo...

 

There should be more number of backlinks,google is the site where so many users use.

 

Yahoo is doing good but most of the searchers used Google. Though yahoo doing well still many people prefer to trust Google.

Google and yahoo both are fallow different algorithms. But most of the user and visitor go with the google but we can't underestimate importance of yahoo. in some country yahoo is more popular then yahoo.

First of all both the search engines has its own parameter, criteria, database and working rules, everything is apart from each other and I have noticed many times if one site is ranking well in Google with your targeted keywords then it would be back or not exists in yahoo for those keywords.

You should focus on your work and make that continue, it will help you sure.

 

All I can say is Google is going up while Yahoo is going down

Major search engine are not disclosing their algorithms for security and spamming purpose, but you can search on Google for your page preview

 

every search ingine have their different rules so its depend on them how many page they have to show or not because they have different settings too

 

You must have a lot of effort in making your PR higher in Google. As we all know, many competitors are doing their best every second just to drive traffic and make their PR to the top. But, for me, I prefer Google in all SE because it's the only SE where we can translate a native language to a foreign language.

 

I think Google is better. Its own way to index page. I like google ....
