Every SE has its own ways to index/rank pages. You should focus on Google SEO now :D

I know that most people use Google and this is why I try to focus on it. But maybe using this information I can understand what I need to do to go up faster in Google. And how come the different between the search engine is so big?

More backlink can help your page to rank well at google, as they consider different policy than yahoo to rank a page well.

Google is better at weeding out weeds like your site that offers no services and sells no products.

Google has a bigger market share than Yahoo!, so it's natural that most people "like" it. That said, you'd be smart not to underestimate a good placement in Yahoo... if it brings you traffic cherish it, I say, independently of what search engine it is.

Well tell me tell you that both Google and yahoo have their own rules to decide that where your site is to be placed .. means they read your website by their own way.. if yahoo!! puts you in 1st page then you may say that your website doing good seo according to Yahoo means your website have a importance in the eyes of yahoo .. but not Google..

Every SE is different. But don't sleep on Yahoo. I love it. Most people ignore Yahoo / MSN, making it easier to rank high. Think of all the people who use IE, which uses Bing as the default search.
