I have heard that's google share 50%, yahoo 30%, msn 15% , and others 5% of the search market. I am not sure if it's corect... any other numbers? because somebody said MSN is groving very fast...

I too think that Goolge pays out more than others. This is bcause I signed up for PPC site as a publisher and they have to tool to check the bid amounts of various key words. I did some check on specific key words and the results I saw were far from what I saw for Adsense Payouts.

There are many webmasters/sites which do not rely only on google for there traffic.. they give more weight to yahoo and/or msn as well :)

Well ... according to my experience [going through log files] suggests me that UK people uses more MSN than Google and Yahoo and US people have a vice versa attitude.

yeah, brat... I like Google...couz...my apartment is a few blocks away from Googles headquarter... So when I work at home I can see its buildings and big logo on the top outside my window... So how can I use any other search engine if Google big logo calls me to use it all the time:)

I think that useage varies wildly by country. Some stats show that in the UK Google is the top seach site by far.

I live in Armenia, and I'd say that almost all the people I know go to google to search for something they need

I've seen all sorts of numbers related to the market share of the "Big Three", and they probably change daily. Overall, I'd guess that Google's market share is more than Yahoo!'s and MSN's combined at present. I think that Yahoo! and MSN are gaining, however, and the increased competition will be good for both advertisers and publishers alike. :)
