    I think google search engine is popular than yahoo search engine. I ask some people when I was in internet cafe and they answered that google is simple and its easy to load.

    But most of people in the world use GOOGLE than YAHOO.

    90% of my traffic comes from google, 5% from yahoo, and my ranking is better in yahoo..

    If you are asking here, Google would be the answer without a doubt.

    If you are asking for a certain country such as Japan, the answer would be Yahoo without a doubt. That's why Google once hired someone buy links built up reputation for Google.co.jp, get caught and fed out already. :p Weird.

    That is surely one very interesting news for me! I was not aware big g itself indulged in such practices! :p

    As to OP's question... it is undoubtedly google as its brand name has become almost synonymous with that of online search! Haven't you heard about... googling?
    It clearly signifies how far well ahead google is... in terms of the leadership! :)
