    Actually i like both but i think both is necessary in separate ways. Necessity of google is unquestionable and facebook is the most popular social media. I consider google as more useful than facebook.

    Google of course is great to get search traffic to your site
    Facebook is great for adding a facebook page to share about your site & promote it!
