Hello! I have Weight Loss Products Reviews website. I am in first page (Bing) but in Google i am not even in the first 100 results, why? My website is 2.5 months old, is it sandbox?
Not sure why you are not ranked in google but you are safe from sandbox. dont worry. you can check that google index you site :: http://www.google.co.in/search?q=si...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
Google has separate criteria for ranking a website as compared to bing... Google rate a site mostly on website contents, quality backlinks, age of site, Alexa Ranking etc... Concentrate on these factors and your website will be on top of google list too
Have You used Your Google Webmaster Tools optimally on all of its features?...submit sitemap, fetching page as Googlebot, creates Meta, managing robot.txt etc.?. I just typed "Weight Loss Products Reviews" as Query on Google, and it's true that Your Website is not appears, it's not on 3 first SERP pages. Be sure that You have used Your GWT optimally...
Hello Friend, Both are best , if you are not getting ranking in google may be due to google caffeine.
yes, google is powerfull than bing because integrated with the expert rank system search engine : ask jeeves.
I added my website to Webmaster tools 2 months ago. Maybe my website is not in top 100 because it's new (Only 2.5 months old). Do you think my website is not in Top 100 results because it is only 2.5 months old?
its not big matter bcz if your site not come in Bing and you got result on google that time problematic
Google now rely on "Trustrank" to see how site sould be ranked. The "Trustrank" seems more complex each day passed since Google always adjust them, including the new "Caffeine" update. If you need your ranking to be stablized in Google, you need just more than a ton of links. Domain Age and consistency of site establishment are also important. That's why your 2.5 months old is not enough.
After analyzing your home page, I can see several on-page factors that are affecting your google rankings. And contrary to popular beliefs, the age of a website has very little to do with rankings on any of the search engines. If you develop a website properly with your targeted keywords in mind while developing it, you can achieve first page rankings within a day or so, sometimes hours. I launched a new website to advertise my services three months ago and my site WebDesignerIllinois. com has ranked on the first page for my desired keywords(web designer Hillsboro IL) on Google, Yahoo, and Bing for over 2 months, as well as dozens of other relavent search phrases like "affordable advertising Hillsboro IL". Google however seems to crawl and index other pages of a website better than Bing or Yahoo, and it presents optimised landing pages for other key phrases that are relevant in its search results. For instance, if you google the phrase "SEO training Litchfield IL" you will find a page of my website, that I have slightly optimised for the phrase, ranking on the first page. Where Bing and Yahoo fail to find these relevant pages and provide a list of search results with no local service providers in them. If someone takes the time to type the city name, they want to find service providers that are local to that city. This in my opinion is why google wins hands down, when it comes to providing relavent search results. A couple suggestions I have for you: 1. Refrain from embedding scripts in your page unless absolutely necesary especially the Head section. Always place your scripts in a seperate file when possible and link to the external file from your page. 2. I allways limit the number of meta keywords(phrases) to 10. They should be the top ten keywords(phrases) that you are targeting and they must appear in the text on the page. Google does not use the meta keywords to rank a site, but I still believe that Google evaluates the meta tags for signs of spammy techniques. 3. Get more relevant backlinks to your site from other relevant sites with your keywords within the anchor text of the links. Thats my 2cents
I agree with James. The age of a site is irrelevant. There are a lot of factors taken into account. Needless to say, some sites rank faster in Google and not as fast in Bing. So I think the results vary drastically as far as each individual site is considered. From personal experience optimizing my site and my fiancees blog I can tell you Google loves content. GOOD, Unique, Quality content. I also agree with James that you should keep your meta tags to no more than TEN. Many people will want to give you all sorts of advice but only a few actually know what they are talking about. So be careful.
I had a similar issue with one my sites "first page for Bing" nowhere in Google. But I think the issue was over optimization of key phrases that Google had a lower threshold on than Bing.
Site is still young...it will take more time to appear on first page...just build it more and it will come...
