Bing surely appears promising...at least as of now!

It is too early to compare it with big G but eventually a time will come when comparison will look valid and interesting! :)

people will try bing because it's new... but what then ?
    bong?
    bing bong?
sounds like the old DOS game ping pong.

It will go the same way as "live" and change name again in a few years probably.
Now if they had of changed LIVE to be more bing like that would have been a different matter.

    Yoda says

bing new it is. Attract many it does, see what it's like they do.

i've tried it a few times, certainly gives different results than google. they don't seem as useful or accurate of results on bing, but that's just my opin.
also i am so accustomed to google and do think their results are superior in general. i'd like to say i get more traffic from bing than live before, but it aint so.

Google for me, and I am not a big fan of Bing's backgrounds/wallpapers.

BING - what a terrible name! And the search results are Live in a different wrapper. That being said I have noticed an increase in traffic from 'Bing' - maybe it just catches the users eye more then live did - still pony results though.

I hate a lot of stuff about Google, that's why I've switched and do about 80% of my searches on Bing.

Though I must admit for more complex searches, Google is still a lot better - hopefully Bing will soon catch on.

There is a new site - http://blindsearch.fejus.com/ - that lets you enter search terms blindly (not knowing which search engine) - then provides the results of three Bing, Google and Yahoo. But, you don't know which column it which. Then, you get to vote on which column provided you the best results. You may be surprised at the results.

Bing is my start page, simply because of the bg. I even installed silverlight to keep up with the previous days' backgrounds :D
