Listen, Microsoft is a software vendor. Google has from day 1 been a search engine. Comparing Bing and Google is like comparing an apple seed (Bing) to a corporate 100 acre apple orchard with full time staff working on pest control and hand picking apples when they are ripe (Google). In time perhaps Bing will gain some serious market share, but I don't even see the Yahoo + Microsoft partnership doing much damage. So what will happen? Google maintains 65% and Yahoosoft somehow eventually gets up to 20%? That is still insignificant and by that time Google will roll out some new technologies that will move it further ahead of the competition anyway.
I don't think bing delivers on it's motto of being a "decision engine". It's just a regular search engine that isn't as good as Google.
Lets Bing it! It sure has a nice ring, but will stand up to Google? I think it def has potential to be great. I have personally had success with all my searches. Also, I enjoy the layout so much more than google, then again I am no minimalist.
Agree bing not so good. I test my website kkyeestore.com, bing gives less results for our branded nike sneakers.. I tried another website, CareerAlbum.com, less good as well.. To be honest, the user interface of bing is not as good as google as well...
Google is still the best search engine and with the all applications that you can use from them such as gmail, docs, videos, google wave, etc. it will still be the top dog for a while. Ray
if I start getting more traffic from Bing, then I'll just use it and love it .. but for the moment Google is the king ..
Bing is dissimilar although there is some resemblance. Bing is a new born; I would not even evaluate it with Google
