I'm torn trying to decide which engine is superior. I think bing's image and video searches are superior to google's. However, I do google scholar searches frequently and bing does not offer an equivalent service. I also like how easy it is to modify the google search results page so that the results are placed into two columns. The most important question is probably who has the best generic search. I've been jumping back and forth between the two and I can't decide. Which do you think is better and why?
i noticed that bing top results are more on authority sites.. so i still to google.. there's alot alternative..
Google has become a synonym for search engines. Moreover, it has the cult status in the same. Bing will take years to reach where Google is now; and by the time it reaches this level, Google will still be much higher.
Many search engines have come up since the inception of Google, but none could withstand the competition. Google is the king of the Web.
Google would be the winner i guess, while bing has done a great job (or there won't be a Google vs Bing topic) in marketing it($100 million i hear), google is always more updated with everything they do, their search algorithms keep changing which is why SERP's for our websites aren't very stable, while this may not really be convenient for website owners, it brings out the best search results for the 'googler', just perform numerous searches on different doubts you might have on certain topic and see for yourself which SERPs are more refined and better to put it frankly.
Bing is new and it's hard to say that Google has competition yet, but in the future, it can be a competition for Google.
