Google Voice Rocks

Uhhh, so does your land line carrier, cell phone carrier, internet provider, etc... Because Google does it with their services, they are bad?

I just got an invite, gonna give it a whirl and see how it goes.

Poor developments happening between Apple and Google. Probably pressured by AT&T, Apple has removed all Google Voice applications from it's App Store.

My Telco operates under strict government regulations regarding data usage, collection and retention, nobody even knows where the hell Google's datacenters are or how they utilize that data.

Google compiles mountains more data on you than your telco.

I'm glad Apple told them to beat it.

 

It looks so awesome, but I wish they offered it to Canada. I'm sure getting an invite isn't that hard, but I have no hope. D:

 

I got my invitation lastnight, I will report back with updates what I think about it.

 

I heard a lot of good things about google voice.

 

why would one choose google voice over skype?
