Does google treat subdomain as a different primary domain OR does the main domain influence subdomain? like sub.example.com and example.com. Are these two compelety different?
It treats them differently. If you do it right, you can see a couple different subdomains show up on a search. It really works well with Bing & Yahoo too
In my own experiences, sub domains would be treated by search engines just as a sub catalog on your homepage of your main domain. Have a nice day,
sub domain are considered by the search engines .But usually it does not considered as good as domain very few subdomains comes in result of google. If it comes out it will have very short period .Most of webmasters do not prefers sub domains.
I think main domain and sub-domains are treated separately, like different websites. Take a look here: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/subdomains-and-subdirectories/#comment-118521
If you have links from main domain to subdomain than you will pass PR to subdomain. Subdomains come nicely in searches on different keywords.
Exactly, When you use it also different. Be carefully when you make SEO on which domain is www (subdomain) or without www
one thing in Main Domain no any dot comes and sub domain comes dor or other character and google give more priority by domain name if its main or sub
Yes, as far as I know. If I'm not wrong then there is a big discussion thread on forum on this topic. Make a search and go through it.
