Dear All I had a self made scientific video to a "new disease" (through research) which I made myself and put up a site and the video for floowup. My site even had a mention on CNN and TV in the US. I put the video on google video for streaming on my site as I couldnt afford the bandwidth with 40k views a day. Now I see that one another site is streaming the video as they got the embed code from google video. Please advice as to what I can do. Is this a cpright infringment? what should I do? cheers prasad..
Well, once you place the video on Google, you are signing away the copyright of the video to them. Under the terms you agreed upon when you uploaded the video to Google https://upload.video.google.com/Terms?hl=en reads Pretty much there is nothing much you can do. It is not a copyright infringment since you agree to give Google the rights to more or less do anything to the video as they pleases.
No its not copyright infringement as when you uploaded you agreed to Google Terms. It basic terms, you are giving away your content for free. Sorry eddy2099 got in there before me.
