Google Video, how will it be monetized?

    Why is it "bound to be monetized"? Google is a massive corporation and I think they can cover the server bill for Google videos without a second thought. With all their billions of revenue, I think they would prefer to subsidize something like this and hold their market share, than potentially put off consumers with unnecessary ads.

    Its called branding. People will visit google videos and then use google search, thats where google makes money.
