    Hello All,

I am bit confused, Do we need to add google webmaster verification code in all the pages of the site or it should only placed in Home page of the site?

    Thanks In advance,

    Home page.
It's literally to verify that you're the owner/ webmaster of the site and therefore have the 'right' the collect and read the data.

Sxperm has right. Add the meta tag only in home page. This is from Google Webmaster:

"Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section."

Yes, Sxperm was right. But I'd also posted it several hours before, try reading all the posts in a thread, you never know what you're missing.

In my own experiences, if you want to have a thorough analyzing of all of your pages, you sould put those codes on every page. Personally, I did this via putting it in my site template footer div.

    Have a nice day,

Homepage is all you need, you can add the meta. Another option is to upload the HTML file they provide and then they instantly verify that you own the website.

I'd suggest using the uploading of a html page feature.
This way you don't have to bother about template changes of any kind.

You should paste webmaster code at home page only, no need to put it on all pages, i was also in the same situation some day, i was in a confusion that if i'll put the code on home page only than how other pages will be tracked but the reason to put webmaster code at home page only is to prove our-self the owner of the Web site is..

    Regards
