Google using hidden text on Gmail

    I have just noticed this:

    Just go to Gmail, hit Ctrl+A and look above the "Searcg The Web" button.

    It is a little hidden text:"If you are using a screen reader, you may wish to switch to basic HTMLfor a better experience."

    No comment:)

    Not sure what point you are making. Do you think the hidden text is an effort for google to trick itself?

    Hidden text isn't necessarily bad. Hidden text used to trick search engines is bad (IMO).

    there is a difference between using hidden text to improve user experience and using it to stuff keywords...

    I'm not saying it's something bad, or that Google is trying to trick himself. It's just something i was not expecting to see on Google.
