Google using Cache for its own ads?

Tonight I noticed something different from past behaviours.
    SEMrush
Previously whenever I would look at Google's cache view of one of my web sites, that has Google adsense code on them. I would view the latest cached version of the page and where the Google ad code is placed I would see a public service ad.

Tonight when I checked a site to see if the cache had got caught up to the latest page changes, I see the Google adsense code section displaying non public servicecads like:

    "CPC Advertising by Google
Get a better ROI from your website. Try Google's advertising programs.
    www.google.com/onlinebusiness"

    This is a big change!

Do we as the webmaster of our cached google page get paid for click thus on adsense ads viewed via the cache view or is Google getting the full benefit?

if the cache did ever display paying ads, most likely you would still get the money for clicks because your adsense id is still in the source of the ads.

Why would you assume this? This cache is on Google's database. I would assume that we would NOT be paid for clicks from cahced pages. That is just me though.

If you are not showing PSA ads in the google cache then you will be payed for the clicks. Check the source, your pub-id is tied to the ads.

and if there was the error of showing non public service ads on the cache, most likely google is unaware and therefore does not a have the operaation to remove the adsense id from the code.

lots of people use the G cache ... there's a few people i know, the company they work for has content filtering, but the cache is not filtered.

The cache should (!) be what the Google spider "sees" ... so if the Adsense stuff was showing up there, it might count as a backlink ...

I never had this kind of experience before.... but I don't think anyone will click on a G ad on some cache of some page....
