At first, the rush was mainly from innovators and people in the technology arena. But now, the profile cloud has morphed a lot. Take a look: As such, G+ has public vision now. I question the recent rash of banning users with aliases as a good way to increase their footprint. Google requiring real names only flies in the face of the most basic security precautions preached across the Internet - "Never give out personal information." That being said, I'm not sold on its long term viability, in its current state, and question their wisdom in what seems to be a "brute force internet takeover". Time will tell though. Social networking has certainly had a major impact on the Internet as we know it.
