yes, Google URL Shortener is a very good service. Google offers reporting and redirect pretty fast and free. I use it for my messages on twitter.
I use Bit.ly and love it.....i have no reason to switch. Google trys to put their hands into everything and they really have only succeeded primarily in gmail, search and owning youtube....but we'll see. -C
Watch out because your stats are public if you use the goo.gl url shortener.. Just add '.home' after any link
Here is a very interesting test for the speed of Goo.gl URL Shortener. http://royal.pingdom.com/2010/10/29/is-goo-gl-really-the-fastest-url-shortener-chart/
That's a pretty neat article actually, it shows that goo.gl is far the best one out there.. but I still will be concerned about the privacy
Goo.gl has been launch a few weeks back if Im not mistaken. I have not tried it yet but Im pretty sure that because it is from Google then maybe it is worth checking them out.
Yes, like other networking sites Google too make it live for past one or two months. Previously it was live with Google toolbar share.
why should i use Google URL Shorten i use bit.my to shorten url and its pretty good no reason to switch to Google Url shorten
Privacy is an issue with google and bit.ly both. If you add a + sign after the bit.ly shortened link, then anybody can see the links stats. I wish there was more control on this at the time of creating the cloaked links
