Hi everyone,

Due to google updates few of my keywords went down, so what to do for better ranking, because as you all know now google panda, google penguin updates are going regularly.

Google updating its algorithm to devalue low and spam websites. Google Panda is fighting against duplicate content / spun contents while google penguin against backlinks having use of single anchor text.

So, the best practice is to, have content written very legitimately and unique in user point of view, rotate your anchor text frequently, do guest blogging, do interlinking, update website on regular basis.

No cloaking, no spinning article, no black hat techniques, don't link to link farming websites, don't link to low value websites.

Create a new content with new keyword. Start quality link building for it.

 

here is the Pro tip from seoMOZ's Rand Fishkin which I follow! don't run after the general keywords e.g. If you have web design company , don't always do excessive linkbuilding for the keywords like web design company, best web design company.. Instead try to make the localization of the keywords and Branding. E.g. The Web design company in Philadelphia| The Brand Name ! Since the update discourages indulgence in spammy SEO practices, stick to white hat, legitimate SEO work. Avoid indulgence in keyword stuffing, link spamming (link trading) & linking the same anchor text to multiple sources. Include unique, informative content in your website and make the most of social media interactions.
