I have redone my site in the past two weeks but when i see my website listed in the serps it still shows my old Title and Description.

How long does it take google to update this?

I have done a lot of link building during this time and with high PR sites so they should have crawled my site????

You're 100% sure you saved and uploaded the right files after you changed them? With consistent link building, your SERPs should have been showing your new title and description after a day or 2 max.

Yes, they are saved. When i go to the url and type in my site, it all shows up correctly. But when i see it as result in the serps, it shows the old style. My "cache" is also the old site so i am assuming they just did not crawl it yet, but it has been a while.

any way to speed up the process?

Ping your website with Pingler, Pingoat, or Ping-O-Matic.

yes its very simple that is you have saved it properly then i think google hasnt cached yet.
Keep working on its link building process,it will crawl soon if it has proper on page.

You had a high PR right, that doesn't mean that when you have redone your website, crawlers come at once. Maybe you need to submit your website to some links which attract crawlers.

Clear your cache and cookies of your browser and check again your site.

    Usually, 2 days is sufficient.

If still doesn't work, try to submit your site in "website value" sites, just search in Google and submit to 30+ sites.

You will be able to see the changes soon.

I think you should bookmark your website in some popular bookmarking sites so that it will crawl easily and fast.
