You people that keep saying page rank is worthless and not important are a bunch of idiots.

If page rank doesn't mean anything, why is it everytime someone comes into DP posting an offer in the Buy/sell forum for sitewide links on a pr 7 site for 30 bucks a month do so many people send them PMs?

Obviously PR must mean something. Pagerank is a measure of how old and established a website is, understand?

PR means something, because link buyers generally look at PR. If all of a sudden people did not care about this, it would disappear.

PR is not a measure of a site's age or establishment (not in our little green bar anyway).

PR is the same as people trading goats and cattle in lesser developed parts of the world. People make the market.

 

well, i hope I dont jinx myself BUT after 11 months I am out of the sandbox and gaining privilages to go to the swing set to play with the big boys. This last update must have grabed my last round of BL's. I hope they stick!

I dont understand this thread to me it seems like google updates everyday or at lest my page rank changes daily..up or down one way or the other.

 

There is no pint to this thread - except it keeps the taffic rank high - lol!

 

If you want to see that little green bar move in the future then this is a far more relevant and important thread, Have a look and spread the word.

 

So has the update started or not as my toolbar still has no green in it and ive seo myself to death over the past 2 months.

Few days back my site was between 10th to 20th position for my keywords. Now its goes to 3rd or 4th page.

 

Don't sweat it. My site did the same, and many of the keywords I was truly worried about ($) are coming back now.

 

Is this PR update really late or did I miss it already

Im kind of bored I hope Google didn't just cancel the whole concept of PR...
Could it be...I dont think so but this is weird, anybody know why it is so late...
