It's been mentioned here before that there might not be an update on the tool bar PR for quite some time because right now the priority seems to be getting the new "BigDaddy" system online, everywhere. This is just a guess, but it does sound logical if that has anything to do with anything. I've seen Google traffic triple in the past 72 hours and my page rank drop from PR4 to PR0 using one of the confirmed "BigDaddy" DC's. It may take awhile, but I think the PR tool bar is going to become a thing of the past. I look for more real time updates everyday on sites and less importance placed on that little green bar.

Also, since we now know from Matt Cutts which IP's are running "BigDaddy", folks that know how to use their Windows "hosts" file can add one of those IP addresses for Google. That way you don't have to always check via IP address to see what's happening with "BigDaddy". For those that don't know what I'm talking about just search google for "Windows Hosts File" and you can figure out how to configure this on your OS. Just remember it's there because if Google ever stops using that IP address you will need to remove that entry or google won't work on your computer anymore.

Bad news by MC on his comment yesterday:

"I don’t know and it wouldn’t matter. No idea when the next toolbar PageRank update is. I’m guessing that the Bigdaddy changes might cause the PageRank update to come later."

112 days isnt late enough, I guess.

Omg, why is this happening to us who are damned to PR0? :(

The only reason, I can see, to care about PR anymore is if you are in the business of selling links, or are doing recip campaigns and feel that no one will reciprocate with a PR0 site or page - am I right on this one?

But you do realize, if you have done your work well and have decent serps, you are not a PR0. I know we all love seeing Green and green toolbar helps with link exchanges.

Also, I believe that seeing PR 6+ can add some "authority" to a site, as far as the perception of other webmasters.

I think Google is too busy updating my sitemaps to worry about your PR. I got a whole new set of tools that showed up in my google sitemaps today. Even one that shows me my incoming anchor text CooooooooL!:D

You know... I think some old data or something is going on. First of all on most of the DCs and on google.com (for me atleast) is showing for some terms that use to be 8,000,000 results a week ago, is now 20,000,000 results. And my website has lost SERPs in about 30 keywords... I went from PAGE 1 to PAGE 50!!

Is this old data? or is it Bigdaddy ? or is it some testings and stuff. Because I sure don't like it. My site is always adding more and more quality information, so i don't think it was my fault. Please tell me it's a mistake :(

Well it seems that someone dosent liek you very much j/k it is probally all part of the cycle that goes along with updating and i dont think it is something that you should worry about. one thing that i have learned in my time doing SEO is that all of this takes time to show its true colors and wait it out before making any drastic changes, because if your doing everything right theres no reason for it not to.
