its not that simple. there is a bit of php mixed in this mess and the conditionals keep finding a way around that intended close.

That or there is some java popup code that reopens the thread.

 

For my site? Yes, absolutely. The last time I checked, about a month ago, there was about 3 page worth. Now? It just keeps going and going! And great backlinks, too! Organic, I think, is what they call it.

I'm finally starting to feel confident about the update actually arriving. Historically (looking back about 4-5 PR updates) our one large group of forum sites is "harrased" by googlebot a few days before the update begins.

Yesterday we recieved over 100,000 hits from googlebot, up from a normal 1,000-15,000 (avg) per day. This is obviously not a science, but I'd start watching PR... maybe next week it will arrive.

 

There is only one thing that can stop this runaway thread now..... an update

 

I think it's several weeks away. The PR details on Big Daddy servers and non Big Daddy servers are different, so I would be surprised if they update PR before the Big Daddy upgrade is ready. Matt Cutts has said one Data Center should be updated every ten days or so.. Add that up and we could be waiting a WHILE for the PR to update..

 

I think the google updates will be starting on 14th Feb.

Its finally here! I see new PR on the following data ce...... ooops, no sorry, false alarm.

 

I am not a big follower of the data center stuff on google but i always keep my eyes open here when google or any of the others start an update.

One of my best sites was a pr3 last week with over 100 pages in google and over 150 in google images. Now since the 1st of this month my traffic has gone right off. I am not being found in google any more for any of my key words and my PR is now 0 It would seem that google has abandoned me, as all i have left is 7 pages in google images.

So something must be happening just that it seems to be working against me at the moment

hmm it would seem that you have been banned possible, as the PR update hasn't really started yet it leaves me to believe that your being penalized for spam possible however you should try to take it easy as the big daddy update is pretty huge so all kinds of strange things are happening.
