did I ever mention the word PR update?
No.. an update in the SEO world for Google can mean one of many things...
Backlinks update (that means your backlinks go up or down, which in terms affect your serps)... there can be a tbpr update (thats the toolbar update), there can be a gdpr update (this is when your PR updates in the directory only), then there is the regular update which probably happens daily... that's why you see fluctuations in results sometimes.

but still even with that said. Possibly a PR update may be due as well.... I say within a week we should see some sort of update.

Well google crawls your site to look at your meta tags, backlinks and such, depending on these results they are factored in along with other results from checking your backlinks, it is then estimated what your PR value should be.
