Could you explain a little more, i'm not sure what you mean about google leaving your home page out? Each of the individual web pages that make up your site may have a different page rank so it is enitely possible, although unusal that your home page as a lower rank than other pages on your site.

You can't just assume your PR will go up unless you have built a bunch of PR backlinks. As your PR increases it does become increasingly more difficult to reach the next PR level. You likely got some extra backlinks to your blog, but not many backlinks to your homepage.

By the way, I know you're joking about wanting to sue Google, but don't worry so much about PR. It is nothing more than a status symbol for websites that you can brag about. It does not translate into better rankings or more traffic.

Yes I was joking about suing Google... although come to think of it... j/k =[]

My home page PR didn't change at all... it stayed at PR2... and yes again I defiantly built up the PR back links to the home page as well as the blog. Some pages got pr1-2 from pr0, but overall I am unsatisfied with my PR2 home page it should have been at least a PR4!

You need to get your links from better sources then if you've been putting plenty of work into it that way :) Hell, you can just even post here more... the Random Generators site I have got to PR3 by mostly just the digital point signature.

I'll second the not worrying about PR mentality. The only time PR is important is if you're selling links yourself or trying to boost up other money sites with yours. Pages can easily rank high for good terms on google with PR1 or 2 if everything else about them is right.

My home page goes from PR1 to PR2... To be honest, I was expecting more.
Anyway, most of my popular posts gets pr1-pr2 - which is good i suppose.
